with a free account you can
create as many new pages as you want or edit existing pages using a visual editor: some of our largest wikis have thousands of pages
edit the header, menu or footer of your wikis: look on the control panel tab of your wik'is directory for the pages "_menu", "_header", "_footer", and "_rightbar". Click on the links to them and edit them like they were regular wiki pages.
use  widgets  to add special functionality to your wiki's pages: see menu widget list , link widget list , account widget list and page widget list for a list of widgets and examples of how to use them.
you can create as many new wikis as you want: putting different kinds of information in different wikis rather than in one big wiki often solves difficult problems of site navigation and access control
you can change your wiki's style sheet to change its appearance: you can apply several built in templates by clicking on the "apply style templates" link on the control panel tab of the directory. If you know some CSS you can directly edit your wiki's style sheet by clicking on the "_style_sheet" page in the control panel.
download your wiki as a CSV file or as a set of HTML pages: at the bottom of the control panel tab of your wiki's directory is a download menu that gives you the choice of how to download your wiki's pages
use a short URL when you give out the address of your wiki: for example, the short form of the address of seedwiki's bug report wiki is  bug_report.seedwiki.com. Just replace any spaces in your wiki's name with underscores and replace the "www" in "www.seedwiki.com" with that form of your wiki's name.
edit the labels and titles of  the buttons and links in your wiki's menu--for example, you could translate them into a different language: you can find the pages that supply the HTML interfaces for your wiki's buttons and link listed on the control panel tab of your wiki's directory. See the user's manual for more information on translation
use HTML forms to gather data from your visitors: the editor has buttons that allow you to build HTML forms into your pages. When your forms are used to submit information seedwiki will store it for you automatically. You can download the stored data or have seedwiki email you each time a form is submitted. Find out more about using html forms to colect data in the user's manual.
allow your wikis visitors to add tags to its pages, and to find pages by their tags: see the user's manual to read more about using tags
Translate your wiki, or re-write its menus more to your liking: edit the text of your wiki's buttons and links as well as the standard forms and user messages that your wiki uses to communicate with its visitors: the interface for every button, link, menu item and form can be found on the control panel tab of your wiki's directory. You can change the text and the style of what is displayed for all your wiki's controls. To find out more read the translation page of the user manual.
add an index to your wiki, and use the index widget to index its pages by their content. Learn more on the indexing your wiki pages page of the user's manual.
upload images and other files: your account as space allocated on the server to use in your wiki. You can insert images into your wiki pages by clicking on the image button in the editor. To learn more see how to add images to my pages To learn about uploading files that others can download from the wiki see upload files to my wiki
publish some of your wik's pages: as a blog, or as an on-line slide show: to learn more see creating a slide show and creating a blog in a wiki in the user's manual.
use your wiki pages to display content from other wikis or other websites: see the page widget list for more information on the _includepage and _mirror widgets.
add comments sections: you can use the _addcomments and _insertcomments to add threaded discussions to your pages. See the addcomments page and the insert comments page for more details.
